RIM’s PlayBook Push: Buy Two, Get One Free

RIM’s uninvited PlayBook has seen its fair share of price cuts at your local big box retailers, but here is a deal just for all you you business-folk out there.  RIM offers a buy-two-get-one-free deal on their tablets. They make it through their network of authorized resellers from now until the end of 2011.

The offer is not upon any particular PlayBook  models that business users can pick up, but probably all three are on the table.  The deal is made more surprised with a secondary offer that concedes one premium PlayBook accessory per tab purchased, so those just dying to score a leather sleeve, charging pod, or a 6 ft. HDMI cable can rest easy.

It is not a bad deal in essence, but, of course, you or your business actually wants 3 PlayBooks in the first place. Though PlayBook is a product from RIM, they seem to exclude some of the business-savvy  that made BlackBerry omnipresent. And regarding BlackBerry, one should not forget to keep them handy, PlayBook OS 2.0’s release is postponed till February 2012. Until then, the users of BlackBerry have to depend upon BlackBerry Bridge for trivial things like email and BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) for some more days.
